Quick Comparison

Buds2Go

Buds2Go has two Fort Worth stores, both open every day from 8 AM to midnight:

• Miller (southeast Fort Worth): 4805 Miller Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76119 · (214) 470-9362
• Sylvania: 305 S Sylvania Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76111 · (817) 422-7961

It also runs a third store in Midtown Houston.

What it sells: The Buds2Go menu covers hemp flower, pre-rolls, edibles, THC drinks, vapes, nicotine, CBD and accessories, so you can pick up flower, a drink and a vape in one stop.

Why people like it: Value and consistency. Buds2Go runs regular deals and a loyalty program that rewards repeat customers, and across its two Fort Worth stores it has a 5-star rating from more than 2,300 reviews. That's more review volume than either competitor shows in public listings.

• Best for: Shoppers who want savings, rewards, the widest hemp menu, and two stores with the same daily hours.
• Downside: No west-side Fort Worth store, so Camp Bowie and Hulen residents have a longer drive.

Kush Kingdom

Kush Kingdom is at 8751 Camp Bowie W Blvd in Fort Worth, in the Western Hills and Ridglea area. Listings show hours of roughly 9 AM to midnight, but directories don't all agree, so call (214) 686-9136 before you drive over.

What it sells: Directories describe a full headshop menu under one roof: glassware, disposable vapes, e-liquids, rolling papers, cigars, delta products and kratom.

Why people like it: The reputation. Public listings put its rating around 4.9 out of 5 from roughly 170 to 190 reviews, and reviewers often mention fair prices.

• Best for: West Fort Worth shoppers, price-conscious buyers and anyone after glass or papers.
• Downside: One location only, and fewer reviews than Buds2Go.

Modern Smoke

Modern Smoke is a North Texas smoke and vape chain. Directory listings say its first store opened in Watauga in 2019. It now has four stores:

• Hulen: 8552 S Hulen St, Fort Worth
• Magnolia: 961 W Magnolia Ave, Fort Worth (Medical District)
• Watauga: 6124 Watauga Rd, Watauga
• Springtown: Springtown, TX

What it sells: Modern Smoke leans toward vape and nicotine products: e-cigarettes, disposable vapes and mods, plus glass pipes, bongs and lifestyle accessories. Listings for the Hulen and Watauga stores also show delta-8 and THC products, edibles, kratom and hookah supplies.

The vibe: Stores aim for a clean, laid-back atmosphere.

• Best for: Shoppers near south Fort Worth, the Medical District, Watauga or Springtown, and vape or hookah buyers.
• Downside: Review counts for individual stores are thin, so it's harder to judge a location before you visit.
